Why bring it here

A frame is a decision you only want to make once

The choices are made with you, not for you

Bring the piece in and we'll hold mouldings and mount corners against it together. You see how the frame looks with the artwork and in the light of the shop before anything is cut.

Conservation, when it matters

Original artwork, a child's first drawing, a war medal — anything irreplaceable can be framed with acid-free materials and UV glass so it doesn't fade, brown or stick to the glass over the years.

In our customers' words

The kind of work people trust us with

Customers tell us they value the careful advice in choosing a frame and mount that suits the piece.

People bring in long-held projects — a tapestry decades in the making — and leave them in safe hands.

A wide range of mouldings and reflection-free glass means the picture, not the frame, gets the attention.

Good to know

Common questions

Do I need an appointment?

No. Call in during opening hours with your artwork or object and we'll talk through the options at the counter. There's no charge for advice or a quote.

How long does framing take?

Most bespoke framing is ready within one to two weeks, depending on the materials and how busy the workshop is. We agree a collection date with you when you place the order.

Can you frame three-dimensional things?

Yes — medals, sports shirts, christening gowns, tools and other keepsakes go into deep box frames built around the object.

What is conservation framing?

It uses acid-free mounts and backing, archival tapes and UV-filtering glass so valuable or irreplaceable work is protected from fading, acid burn and moisture over the long term.
